Angel Card of The Week: If You Get Nervous Focus on Service

This week's card, "If You Get Nervous Focus on Service," is not about you, it is about us. This card asks us to be of service in a public way, this can be as a healer, teacher, mentor, public speaker, etc. Many people get nervous and think about the I; that you may stumble with your words, or that the client being healed is not receiving the healing, or that the inforamtion you are sharing is not being received. Bring your mind from away from that line of thinking and focus on the reason for the action at hand.

If You Get Nervous Focus on Service, this is such a truly helpful statement, when I first started as a Reiki practitioner I thought I had to feel something and my mind would wonder if the client was feeling something happen. I know better now, with Reiki and other energetic healing forms, even public speaking, you may tend to wonder if your intention was received, but that you must trust that what is meant to transpire is happening in it's own way, or will happen at it's own time. I have had some amazing physical sensations while giving a Reiki treatment, where the client didn't seem to feel anything at the time. I have been on the other end of this as well, where I felt nothing when I was giving, but the client had a great experience. Reiki, like other intelligent energies (or intentions) will get to where they need to go, when they decide the time is right.

Remove expectation and see your being of service as beneficial no matter what. If You Get Nervous Focus on the Service at hand.

Have a Great Week!

  1. Thanks so much for this post! I love this saying, and it's something I try to keep in mind when I'm doing energy work and also when I'm doing intuitive consultations. If i start feeling nervous or anxious or worried, I bring my attention back to *service* - this is a great saying!

    1. Thanks Gin, it's a really great card, we as 'light workers' have lives & worries too, and sometimes need to be reminded to stay 'present' :) Thanks for reading, take care!
