How to Incorporate Reiki Into Your Daily Life

For those of us familiar with Reiki, we can easily associate it with peaceful, calming, or relaxing feelings, but Reiki can also be fun and energetic as well. I would like to share the other uses for Reiki that you often do not hear about, with these additional uses you can incorporate Reiki into your daily life without it if feeling like you need to take the time to hold a special ceremony each time.

• Manifesting. There are so many books, blogs, videos, and seminars on this topic alone, it;s very hot right now, especially in what has been labeled a down economy. It seems like the general message is to just create a vision board, do some affirmations and visualize what you want. I have my own personal views on this kind of thinking, and since this is my blog, I will share them, I think it promotes unrealistic ideas and laziness. If you want something you have to DO something to receive it, Reiki is no different. There may be some authors out there who further explain true manifesting, but the idea seems to be cheapened by the mainstream media.
Before manifesting can even take place, you need to be clear on what you want, why you want it, and if it is in your highest good. Do you have any beliefs blocking you from what you think you wish to manifest? Reiki can help you decipher this integral part of manifesting. Once you actually know what you desire, you can use Reiki to infuse those needs. I created a "Manifestation Box" similar to a Reiki Healing box, and I write down what I wish to manifest, place it in the box, and then send Reiki to it.

• Infuse your food with Reiki. Hopefully you already pray over your food, you can Reiki as well.

Infuse your drinking water with Reiki, as well as the water you use for your plants.

• Reiki your car and driving route. I do this daily! I really have a ritual around this one, I get in my car and pray; I pray for myself, my car, and the surrounding cars. As I drive, I Reiki the road ahead, when I need to merge over to another lane, I Reiki the space to open it up.

• Parking, I love using Reiki to find a parking space, this is something I did prior to any experience with Reiki, I used what I called "parking angels".

• Reiki your Throat Chakra. I love sending Reiki to this chakra when I have to have a challenging conversation with someone. Challenging doesn't have to mean a argument, it can be an interview or speech. This can work also with needing to hear and really listen to someone else as well since the Throat Chakra overlaps with the ears as well. This principal can be applied to any of your chakras, as they all govern specified areas of the physical body.

• Reiki your shower head, or bath tub faucet. This idea of this is simply fabulous! Shower or bathe yourself in Reiki. Our skin is our largest organ, and it is very absorbant, why not nourish it with Reiki?

• Reiki in your workout? YES! A few months back I was in a grueling Kung Fu style boot camp class, very cardio heavy, which made you want to just stop and rest. I zoned out in the middle of my 100+ jumping jack warm-up and figured there had to be a way to use Reiki to help me get through this. Being an Advanced Practitioner I used a few symbols from my 2nd and 3rd Degree training, first the Empowerment Symbol and then the Increase Energy symbol. Using these symbols kept me focused and assisted with my endurance during the class.

This list could be endless, Reiki is a creative energy so go out there and explore how you can incorporate Reiki into your daily life.

  2. I recommend you check out music by simply J Ersus Epperson (observe website inbound links below).
He has wide selection of music to help you loosen up,
meditate as well as sleep. While she has some no cost demo movies, I strongly suggest that
you purchase some very good mp3 relaxation pieces.
Each person is unique - you must find what is ideally suited for for people.
