This week's angel card hits home with me, the DNA/Karma card is about family, and I just saw my parents who live across the country this past weekend to celebrate their 20th Wedding Anniversary. This card looks a bit ominous, and the words 'karma' may seem a somewhat bleek, but that is not the case. Karma is a natural cycle, it can render both positive and negative repercussions. Dr. Steven Farmer describes this card as a balance between 'the DNA you inherited from your parents' and your 'soul pattern'. I love this concept and have subscribed to it for quite some time. The card itself looks like a double helix made from snakes, or a double Kundalini rising, a great depiction of duality.
This weekend I looked at my family and certainly felt and saw our DNA imprint, and yet my soul operates on a completely different level from some of theirs. My boyfriend and myself tend to operate on a soul level together, and of course there is no biological relation. I am so in-sync with my dad (who is technically my stepdad), and our bond breaks the biological DNA barrier.
Dr. Farmer also goes on to say that we are NOT doomed to be like our family, because we have our own soul pattern that is separate from our DNA, we have free will, we have the ability to choose our life path, and create our own destinies. So while you may inherit some traits from your mom or grandpa, you do have control to change your perspective and life as it suits you.
